Have you always wanted to take your family on a vacation but you just don’t have the money? There are ways to find wonderful and affordable vacations that the entire family will enjoy! Just follow a few easy tips and you and your family will be off to the family adventure of a lifetime!
Research the area you wish to visit. Instead of staying in the heart of the city; check out hotels on the outskirts of town. Lodging is invariably cheaper away from the busiest areas, e.g., airports, downtown areas, sports arenas and amusement parks, but the travel to and from the points of interest may factor into the cost. Investigate the food options where you are staying. Many places have complimentary breakfasts and offer concierge services as well. The concierge will help you to find great restaurants, attractions and tours at affordable rates. Just tell them what you are looking for, and they will point you in the right direction. Look into coupons or discounts for restaurants and entertainment. Many places give their guests coupons or discounts to places because you are staying at their hotel. It doesn’t hurt to ask if this is available to you. Just because you’re on a budget doesn’t mean you’re not entitled to all of the amenities.
Browse the websites of the city’s Chamber of Commerce or Tourism Councils. They detail all types of restaurants, when, where and what parks, local attractions, and events, among other things, are located. Often, they will offer coupons and inform you of matinee prices. If you know some of your exact destinations, explore their websites. They too can give discounts in order to get you through their doors.
If you are willing to go outside the traditional and expected tourists sights, go to where the locals hang out. You’ll get a taste of what life in that area is like, and entertainment and food there is usually cheaper. Besides, locals often have great ideas and information about their city. Ask them where the best buffets, kids-eat-free, or kids-go-free places are.
Before you start researching, it is important to figure out the type of vacation you want. Do you want to relax, site see, do both or take a road trip? The travel choices are endless and can be quite overwhelming. Once you’ve defined your goals, plan how you’ll travel to your destination once you get there. If you are traveling by car, then it will be easy for you to get around. Map out your travel plans. If you have traveled by plane, you might want to rent a car or find out if the hotels have shuttles to the points of interest in the area, take taxis, or perhaps you can walk. The more informed you are, the more you can save!
Plan well and your family vacation can be a fantastic experience that you will do over and over again!

Manda Bay In Kenya Would Make An Extraordinary All Inclusive Family Vacation Package
All inclusive Family Vacation Packages and Luxury Holidays don’t somehow lie easily together. Most people’s vision of an all inclusive package is one of a large somewhat garish 21st Century all singing all dancing hotel containing lots of people you wouldn’t want to be with.
What we have here is somewhat different.
Manda Bay is a small, very intimate, luxury resort set on an island close to Lamu on the Indian Ocean in North East Kenya. It only has sixteen spacious and secluded bandas, so even with this limited information, it is quite obviously a totally different prospect to the gin palace of nightmares.
If in your opinion all inclusive means big, and that means beautiful, then read no further because Manda Bay is the stuff that dreams are made of, but families who make this choice need to be aware that this is laid back luxury, but whilst there is plenty to do, there are no discos, night clubs, but rather peace, tranquillity and great unspoilt natural beauty. Best of all if this is your idea of heaven, then you will find the other guests are very much like you!!
The great thing about Manda Bay is not only its idyllic situation, nor the fact it is undoubtedly a luxury resort for a luxury vacation, yet perfect for an all inclusive family vacation package, but it is still an ideal destination as part of a romantic honeymoon package. Quite probably one of the top places to book into at the end of a Kenya Safari Tour, when you want a bit of spoiling!!
Manda Bay lies on a long palm fringed beach at the northwest of Manda Island, it is very private, very secluded but close enough to Lamu town to visit and enjoy.
There is a central dining room, bar and separate lounge area all locally furnished with sofas and large cushions. You can take the hotel’s dhow outh for sundowners or for a two or three day romantic hire to cruise the uninhabited islands around the Lamu Archipelago.
When it comes to daily activities the complimentary water sports included windsurfing, laser sailing, snorkelling and kayaking. Dolphins and turtles are frequent visitors, and even the occasional humpback whale.
There are two ski boats skis, a kite surfer, banana boats, tubes and wake boards. There is deep sea fishing and saltwater fly fishing plus several skiffs for creek fishing on offer as well For the energetic, there are walking and cycling excursions, but perhaps a bit of real pampering is what you need, so a massage is a great option.
You will be fed extremely well with great emphasis on fresh fish, seafood, such as fresh tuna, mangrove crab, and prawns.
Breakfast is fairly casual, with no real set time. There is a fresh fruit buffet, home made cereals, yoghurt, and if required a full English breakfast.
Lunch is buffet style either by the pool, in the dining room, or on the 60 foot sailing Jahazi.
The culmination is a three course dinner either in the dining room, or normally outside [...]
